Use cases
Secure video sharing for sports clubs. Stop transfer leaks.
A transfer target, a line-up or a kit film leaks the moment 1 file reaches too many phones. SealCopy gives every person their own marked copy, so when a clip gets out, it points to 1 copy.
Why does team news leak from a club?
Because the same file goes to many people. A club shares a video with the board, the scouts, the coaching staff and sometimes the whole squad. It travels by messaging app, email link or shared drive. Everyone sees the same copy.
When that file turns up on social media, nobody can say which copy it was. Everyone is a suspect, and so nobody is. The leak is a team news leak today and a story in the press tomorrow.
Clubs are not careless. The people with access are often the right people. The problem is the file, not the people. Real football club leaks show how small the first slip usually is.
How does SealCopy help a sports club?
Transfer targets
The analysis team sends target videos to the board and the scouts. Each person gets a private link and their own marked copy. If a target is named in the press before the club moves, the clip points to 1 copy.
Line-up and tactics
The coaching staff and the first team watch the plan on their phones. They sign in with a code. There is no app to install and no account to make.
Kit launch film
The media team shares the film before release. Each reviewer sees their own name on screen, and the hidden mark stays in the picture even if someone covers the name.
Contract talks
A short briefing for the board goes to named people only. The sender can remind anyone who has not watched, and can switch a link off when a person leaves the discussion.
Medical and performance videos
A small staff group sees sensitive footage. Every view is logged: who, when, on which device and network.
SealCopy sits beside the video analysis tools your club already uses, such as Hudl. It does not replace them. Export the file from the tool, then send it through SealCopy. How SealCopy works shows the steps from upload to leak trace.
Who at the club uses it?
- The head of analysis uploads the video, picks who gets a copy and sends it.
- Players and staff open their private link on a phone, sign in with a code and watch. That is all they do.
- The head of security or comms opens a leak case when a clip appears. They upload the clip, and SealCopy reads the mark and reports which copy it came from, how sure it is, and the trail around it.
Most clubs will start with 1 sender and 1 person who owns leak cases. The rest only watch.
What does a typical week look like?
On Monday the head of analysis exports the opposition report and sends it to 12 people. On Wednesday the line-up video goes to the coaching staff and the first team. On Thursday the board gets a short briefing on a transfer target, with 5 named viewers.
On Friday a clip of the briefing appears in a fan group. The head of security uploads it. SealCopy reports that it came from 1 copy, and shows when that link was opened and from which device and network. The club now has a short list of questions to ask, and a record to show its lawyer.
What will SealCopy not do?
- It shows whose copy leaked. It does not show who held the phone. A person's account can be shared or hacked, so the strongest case is several clues that agree: sign-in, device, network and time.
- It cannot stop someone filming a screen with another phone. It makes that act traceable, not impossible. A very poor recording can make the mark harder to read, and then we say how sure we are.
- It gives evidence, not a verdict. If a leak could lead to a dispute or a dismissal, speak to your own lawyer first.

Questions clubs ask
Do players need to install an app?
No. They open their private link, sign in with a code sent by email or phone, and watch in the browser. No account is needed.
Does it replace Hudl or our analysis software?
No. Keep your analysis tools for analysis. Export the file and send it through SealCopy when it needs to go to people outside the analysis room.
What if a player covers their name on screen?
The name is only the visible layer. A hidden mark is built into the picture itself and stays when the name is covered. The name can also be turned off.
