Security
Secure video sharing: 1 link, 1 person, every view logged.
This is how SealCopy keeps a confidential video safe. Each link works for 1 person, opens with a code, carries a marked copy, and leaves a record.
1 link, 1 person
A link only works for the person it was made for. If it is forwarded, it will not open for anyone else, because the code goes only to the person it was made for. This is the first layer of confidential video security.
It also means you always know who a link belongs to. There are no shared links floating around, and no link that anyone in the building can pass on.
A code at the door
Before anyone can watch, they must prove it is them. They can use a code sent to their email, a code sent to their phone, or your company sign-in.
You can ask for a second step as well. Viewers need no app and no account.
Marked copies
Every person watches their own copy. Their name moves across the picture, and a hidden mark is built into the picture itself. If a clip leaks, the mark points to 1 copy. See how SealCopy works for the detail.
Every view is logged
We record who watched, when, from what device and network, and how many times they played it. You see this for every copy.
This log is also part of the trail in a leak case. It helps show whether a copy was opened by the person it was made for.
You stay in control
Remind people
Nudge anyone who has not watched yet.
Switch any link off
One person's link can stop working at any time, without touching the others.
Set the expiry
Choose the day the links stop working.
Close a send now
Shut every link in a send at once.
Undo
Changed your mind? You can undo a step.
Encrypted in storage and when sent
Your video is encrypted while it is stored. It is encrypted again when it is sent to a viewer.
The leak room is locked
Leak cases are sensitive. Only 3 roles can open them: Head of security, General counsel and CEO's office. For what a case contains, see how to find out who leaked a video.
What we do not claim
- SealCopy is new and pre-launch. We have no security certifications to show yet.
- No tool can stop someone filming a screen. SealCopy makes sure that leak can be traced.
- Heavy re-processing of a clip can make the hidden mark harder to read. When that happens, we say how sure we are.
- A mark shows whose copy leaked. It does not show who held the phone.
